Saturday

This the first time in a long time that Jason has had a Saturday off where we weren't at a basketball game. It really felt weird to have everyone home and no where we had to be.

Jason, Treyson and I did make a quick trip to Powell around lunch time to do a little Easter shopping. When we got back, the kids wanted to dye Easter eggs.  We are leaving for Salt Lake City on Wednesday for a little family vacation and won't be back until Sunday, and the kids didn't want to miss out on any festivities so we did the eggs a little early this year. There weren't any spills and minimal tears, which makes for a success in my book.

Jason bought us a fire pit to have on our back porch. I love the one that we have on our lawn for warm summer nights, but this one is perfect to have a little fire in before bed.  I crack open our bedroom window and it makes our house smell so good.

I am so looking forward to Summer, but I am also enjoying these spring days and nights.
