Every time the older kids go to the public pool, Dallin begs to go with them. He isn't old enough to go with them, and I don't want to go swimming so I usually try to distract him with something else...running through the sprinklers, a bike ride, cookie making... and usually he forgets about the pool and has a fun time at home.
On Wednesday, I talked the older kids into going to the Cowley pool with us. This is really the perfect set up, all the kids can swim, and I can sit on the side and be next to them when needed. It was a good way to spend an afternoon out of the house.
