More Summer Fun

One of the days Kim was here visiting we took a ride up the mountain to get away and picnic and fish.  A few of the kids even took a small hike. The kids loved learning how to fly fish from their dad, and they were all pretty successful.  We only lasted a couple of hours because the bugs were eating us alive, but it still felt so good to be up there.

Kinlee stripped down to her diaper because she played in the stream that crossed the road.

As you can see she stayed a little more modest than her cousin :)

This last Saturday was Cowley's Day. We watched the parade at my Grandpa Ken's house and then spent the rest of the day at the park watching Danielle and Emilee play volleyball. Katelyn ran around with her friend Aubrey, and Jacob found cousins to swim with at the pool. We ended the night by listening to the Cowley boys at the park until way past everyone's bedtime.  I can't believe the last town celebration of the summer is over. We're definitely on the downhill slide.
