Memories-Dallin's 6th Birthday

Dallin is a funny boy. He thinks he gets the short end of the stick because his birthday is the last of the year for our family.  No matter how many times I try to explain that even though his birthday happens in the latest month, we all have to wait the same amount of time for our next birthday, he still doesn't get it.

The kids didn't have school on the day of Dallin's birthday, but Jason had to work. So we started the day early to open his presents before Jason left.  The other option was waiting until Jason got home, and Dallin didn't want to wait that long to get his loot. Thankfully his brothers and sisters were home to help make the day at home fun for him. His request for dinner was to eat at Blimpies. There was a home volleyball game that night, and he was very patient while he waited for that to get over so he could get his chicken strips and fries.

I am so thankful to have Dallin in our home. He is such a good kid, such a hard worker.  If I ever have a job that needs done, he is right by my side doing everything he can to help.  He loves me so much and is always telling me I am his favorite person or there is no one better than me. He struggles with anxiety, but he has been so brave this school year....trying lots of new things that have been hard for him. He loves to play cars, sports and school. He has been Kinlee's home school teacher for several months now. He loves Treyson and always calls him his baby. In other words, he is just about the sweetest thing ever!
