Pinewood Derby

Tonight was Jacob's pinewood derby.  He did a good job.  Jason helped him with the design of his car, and I cut out the stickers with my vinyl cutter but other than that he did it all himself.  His car raced 3 times and he lost 2 of them. He was a really good sport about it, but when he got home he was kind of sad that he had lost more than he had won.  I guess that is the nature of those things...there can only be one winner. He was also given the award for biggest fan because his car was decked out in Broncos!

I tried to adjust my camera settings to take a little bit better pictures in the gym, but that was pointless because they still look awful.  So please ignore the neon yellow glow of everything.

In other news, Emilee's MRI results came back less than favorable to say the least.  She has torn the ligaments in her knee and will have surgery next week. We're all feeling sad for her but are also glad for modern technology that will have her back on her feet in a few months.
